CMD recognises that, when trade customers enter their local branch, their ‘path-to-purchase’ can have many starting points.

Some have pre-determined shopping lists. Or are looking for the best deal. Or they’re planning to browse and then decide.

Knowing what they trust. Or they may be ready to ask for advice. Eyes and minds open to new ideas and the latest technology.

We must also acknowledge that they could be brand loyalists or promiscuous switchers. With projects to fulfil that are routine – or a challenge.

There are further factors to consider. Between arriving at the store and heading off to site, they can go through several definable stages before the sale is confirmed.

All of these represent different opportunities to alert them to your brand or product message.

Our role

We will create point-of-sale materials that will:

  • Raise the profile of your branded products in store
  • Complement and reinforce brand positioning and messaging
  • Work within the parameters defined by the stockist branch or head office
  • Be sensitive to customers’ specific needs at key stages in their store visit, and at point of purchase – for reassurance, guidance and/or detailed information
  • Encourage and confirm their choice of your products in preference to alternatives
